Current Schedule
Come back with me to the 1960’s: to Whitewater, Wisconsin and a garage band
called Mourning Dayze. Listen to psychedelic music intermixed with garage rock.

Come with me to places like Alpine Valley and the London Inn in Eau Claire, Wisconsin;
to Fanny Hill in the Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin.

Join us as we relive the 60’s at the Modernaire in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Mourning Dayze played at Majestic Hills and Lady of the Lake in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

All the college kids from UW-Oshkosh flocked to the Ralph Hotel in downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

In Madison, Wisconsin join Mourning Dayze at the West Side Club, the East Side Club, Great Dane, Capitol Brewery and the Dane County Fair.

Teen bars were big in Wisconsin in the 60’s. The Red Bird in Manitowac was a teen bar. Weiler’s Teen Bar in Port Washington, Wisconsin was a wild place. So was the Cotilliion Teen Bar in Wausau.

Sheybogan, Wisconsin was the home of Harold’s Club 23.

Mourning Dayze played a two-week gig at the Top Hat Club in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. They played a 4-week gig at the Hotel Chapperal in Odgensburg, New York.

Mourning Dayze had one hit record called “Fly My Paper Airplane.” It is part of “Lost Recordings”.

The book will be available before Christmas 2010.
